Our Classes

Whoever you are – young, old, a premier athlete or literally never left the couch – we’ve got a class for you! The cool thing about CrossFit is that anyone can do it. We scale every workout to meet you where you are. That way, you’re always challenged without hurting yourself.
  • On-Ramp

    A slower paced course allowing our coaches to break down the fundamental movement patterns to help establish a basic baseline understanding of our movement requirements. This course will help you build a solid foundation and prepare you for your future with SouthWind CrossFit.

  • CrossFit

    Based on the CrossFit prescription of “constantly varied functional movement executed at high intensity,” our CrossFit program combines strength training with the “classic” CrossFit cardio workout. For this 1-hour class, you could be working on pull-ups, rowing, burpees and much more. Every WOD is different so you never get bored! We scale each workout to your fitness level, so you get the maximum workout every time.

  • CrossFit Kids

    Who says adults get to have all the fun? CrossFit Kids teaches children the principles of mechanics, consistency and intensity in working out. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. CrossFit Kids provides children with physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and the classroom.

  • Personal Training

    If you’re new to CrossFit, feeling nervous about joining a new gym, or simply interested in a more individualized workout, our Personal Training program will be a perfect fit for you. Your coach will identify and clarify your goals, assess your movements, and design a training program tailored to your fitness level. Once you learn the basics, gain more confidence in your abilities, or decide you want in on the camaraderie of our group classes, you will be welcomed and encouraged to transition into our other programs.

  • Legends

    Workout with your peers without the intimidation of keeping up with that 21 year old rock star. Our Legends program is designed with the aging body in mind, and is offered 4x per week. Extended warm ups and extra time spent working on mobility are included everyday in this class. If you are want to keep your good health, or get healthy and keep the nursing home an after thought, then this class is a must.

  • Yoga

    Our free Yoga class is a great complement to CrossFit training because yoga helps increase strength, mobility, flexibility, and balance — all things you’ll need to get the most out of your CrossFit workouts! Enjoy the mind-body connection that yoga brings so you can tune in to your body and relax your mind.

  • Barbell Club

    Our Barbell Club follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level to more advanced cycles prepping lifters for WODs or competition. Whether you’re looking to improve your technique and strength or want to pursue lifting as a sport, this barbell class is for you.
